Emmie Deebo Earns Four Nominations at Africa Arts Entertainment Awards

Award-winning musician Emmie Deebo has secured four nominations at the 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (Aaea), set for March 30 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Her hit song Hapa, featuring Tanzanian artist Platform, earned her nods in Best New Female Artist, Best Collaboration by New Act, Best Music Video by New Act, and Best Hit Single by New Act categories.

Reacting to the nominations, Deebo said, "These nominations prove my hard work is paying off. This is just the beginning." She urged fans to vote, as winning depends on fan support.

The Mtima hitmaker also teased her upcoming debut album, First Born, promising diverse sounds, deep storytelling, and exciting collaborations.

Her management, Akometsi, sees the nominations as a major boost for her brand, increasing visibility and opening doors for more opportunities.
