Lawi, KellyKay, Gwamba, and Lulu Organize Benefit Concert "From Ashes" to Support Tay Grin

In a powerful display of solidarity, renowned Malawian artists Lawi, KellyKay, Gwamba, and Lulu have come together to organize the benefit concert "From Ashes," aimed at supporting fellow musician Tay Grin, who recently lost his property in a devastating fire.

The concert, scheduled for next month at the Bingu International Convention Centre in Lilongwe, seeks to help Tay Grin begin the process of rebuilding his life. Lawi shared his appreciation for the swift and heartfelt response from his fellow artists, saying, “When I reached out to my fellow artists, they didn’t hesitate, and we agreed to make it happen.”

The event's lineup will also include legendary artist Giddes Chalamanda, adding another layer of excitement to the concert. The Bingu International Convention Centre, in an act of generosity, has offered to host the event free of charge in support of its noble cause.
