Queen Agnes Follows in Father’s Footsteps with Debut Single

 The musical legacy of the late Bright ‘Livewire’ Nkhata lives on as his daughter, Queen Agnes, steps into the spotlight with her debut single, Moyo Wanga.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Queen Agnes has long been involved in entertainment as a DJ but is now embracing her true musical calling. "I believe my father’s musical gifts are in me. It’s time to continue his legacy," she said.

Moyo Wanga, a fusion of amapiano and afro-house, features Leumus of Set-Up Beats and is dedicated to her father. The song has gained recognition, earning airplay on US radio stations, including 97.9 The Beat, where she was also interviewed.

Leumus praised Queen Agnes’s passion, saying, "She truly believes in the genre and is helping push the amapiano movement globally."
