Tay Grin Optimistic About Boosting Malawi’s Tourism Industry

Malawi’s newly-appointed tourism ambassador, musician Tay Grin, is committed to promoting the country’s tourism to attract international attention. After attending the Trace Music Awards in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Tay Grin discussed plans to strengthen tourism ties between Malawi and Zanzibar, focusing on co-joint advertising, product showcasing, and improving infrastructure.

Tay Grin also explored global partnerships with artists and platforms like Trace, BBC, and Wasafi TV to expand Malawi's musical presence worldwide. He encouraged local cultural and tourism stakeholders to collaborate with major influencers and events to boost Malawi’s tourism industry.

Minister of Tourism Vera Kamtukule praised Tay Grin for his efforts, noting that bringing world stars to Malawi would help promote its cultural and tourism attractions.
