Veda’s ‘Mwana Pretty’ Takes the Top Spot on MBC Radio 2’s ‘Made on Monday’ Chart

Dancehall artist Veda is celebrating a major achievement as his track Mwana Pretty has soared to the number one position on the Top Ten chart of the popular urban program Made on Monday, aired every Monday on Malawi’s state broadcaster, MBC Radio 2. This accomplishment has seen him surpass renowned music figures such as Onesmus and Phyzix, who are also featured on the chart.

Released just three weeks ago, Mwana Pretty has quickly become a fan favorite, overtaking the controversial Dodii Dodii by Ace Jizzzy, which had sparked mixed reactions online due to its reference to Gattah.

As part of the successful musical group Njuchi, which also includes Eli, Kelli Devine, and Chizmo, Veda demonstrates his versatility in Mwana Pretty by seamlessly blending Afrobeat elements with his signature dancehall style.
